What Will I See In The Museum

Picture
The woolshed which was re-built in 1936 from the old Kaiaua Post Office is now a museum which has over 600 years of Maori and european hand tools. The artefacts presented are a timeline of progress from stone to metal over the centuries.
Rangipo station was the original site of Kaiaua village.
Across the river from the woolshed is the site of the original blacksmith and these tools are on display.
Rangipo Museum has seating for visitors to bring their own lunch and enjoy the displays and view.
